About The Vincent Boys
Get seduced by a sizzling account of attraction and betrayal in this previously self-published phenomenon.
Ashton
is getting tired of being good, of impressing her parents and playing
ideal girlfriend to Sawyer Vincent. Sawyer is perfect, a regular Prince
Charming, but when he leaves town for the summer, it’s his cousin Beau
who catches Ashton’s eye. Beau is the sexiest guy she’s ever seen, and
even though he’s dangerous, Ashton is drawn to him.
Beau
loves his cousin like a brother, so the last thing he wants to do is
make a move on Sawyer’s girl. Ashton is off-limits, absolutely. That’s
why he does his best to keep his distance, even though he’s been in love
with her forever. When Ashton wants to rekindle their childhood
friendship in Sawyer’s absence, Beau knows he should say no.
Ashton
and Beau don’t want to hurt Sawyer. But the more they try to stay away
from each other, the more intense their urges become. It’s getting way
too hard to resist....
The Vincent Boys is in stores now! The sequel to The Vincent Boys, The Vincent Brothers will be released December 18, 2012.
About the author
Abbi
Glines can be found hanging out with rockstars, taking out her yacht on
weekends for a party cruise, sky diving, or surfing in Maui. Okay maybe
she needs to keep her imagination focused on her writing only. In the
real world, Abbi can be found hauling kids (several who seem to show up
that don’t belong to her) to all their social events, hiding under the
covers with her MacBook in hopes her husband won’t catch her watching
Buffy on Netflix again, and sneaking off to Barnes and Noble to spend
hours lost in the yummy goodness of books.

The Vincent Boys
is a seductive story of attraction and betrayal. This November, the
Vincent boys are helping us remember the guys who have both stolen and
broken our hearts.
Regular readers of this blog might know by now that I just love boys in books. From Adrian Ivashkov (Vampire Academy) to Etienne St. Clair (Anna and the French Kiss), my book crush boys are many and varied - I even have a whole Pinterest board dedicated to Books With The Best Boys - Check it out! But, if there's one book boy who fits my real life 'type' to a tee (I totally have a type!) It's Noah Shaw (The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer),often referred to as Noah Shaw OMFG! by me. As in Noah Shaw. IN. A. Tux. OMFG. Hot, hot, hot!!
I totally need to get a t-shirt emblazoned with the words 'I lost my heart to Noah Shaw,' and here's why:
The guy above is actor Luke Grimes, whose picture I stumbled across while doing a little research for my NaNoWriMo project. (Yes, it was all in the name of research!) I think he fits Noah to a tee! Noah is presented to us as a bad boy, and kind of an ass, but like all the best bad boys, there's so much more to Shaw than meets the eye. He's a guy with so many layers. A man of mystery, if you like. He's got bad habits (He smokes, he sleeps around, so we're told) and yet he's got the warmest heart (He loves animals - and that's always a major plus point, in my opinion!). Noah is drop dead gorgeous, but he usually looks like he's just fallen out of bed with dishevelled hair and a permanent shadow of stubble on his face. He could care less about school, but he lives in a world of books, and he has a vocabulary that will make you go weak at the knees. For real. Noah is smart, really smart and he uses his smart mouth to great effect, like here:
“Have you kissed many boys before?" he asked quietly.
His question brought my mind back into focus. I raised an eyebrow. "Boys? That's an assumption."
Noah laughed, the sound low and husky. "Girls, then?"
"No."
"Not many girls? Or not many boys?"
"Neither," I said. Let him make of that what he would.
"How many?"
"Why—"
"I am taking away that word. You are no longer allowed to use it. How many?"
My cheeks flushed, but my voice was steady as I answered. "One."
At this, Noah leaned in impossibly closer, the slender muscles in his forearm flexing as he bent his elbow to bring himself nearer to me, almost touching. I was heady with the proximity of him and grew legitimately concerned that my heart might explode. Maybe Noah wasn't asking. Maybe I didn't mind. I closed my eyes and felt Noah's five o' clock graze my jaw, and the faintest whisper of his lips at my ear.
"He was doing it wrong.”

"He was doing it wrong.”

*FAINTS*
Noah can be romantic too. If you haven't already you need to check out The Evolution of Mara Dyer and what I like to refer to as "The Tux Scene!" So, so, so, so hot!
“This was the boy I loved. A little bit messy. A little bit ruined. A beautiful disaster. Just like me.”

But, wait! If Luke as Noah doesn't float your boat, here are some back up choices. And this time I've picked British actors, because, if you didn't know, Noah has a British accent.
Ah, Douglas Booth. Usually this guy is too clean-shaven for Noah, but here he looks just right.
I couldn't leave out Rob. He is *the* perfect Noah, don't you think?
I'm hoping that The Vincent Boys will provide me with more boys to add to my ever growing book crush list! Will I be Team Sawyer or Team Beau? I can't wait to find out!

I have many book crushes, but I would probably have to say Jay from The Body Finder!
ReplyDeleteGreat post, I love it! Beau Vincent is my book boyfriend that all the others get compared to. Then there is Jackson from Madly, Daemon from the Lux series, I love the guys from Abbi's Sea Breeze series to.
ReplyDeleteI love the sound of Vincent Boys. It definitely sounds like a guilty pleasure. I'll have to check it out.
ReplyDeleteRegarding my book crushes, my classic book crush is Mr. Darcy, of course. But my YA book crush would have to be Conrad from Han's Summer series or Dimitri from Vampire Academy. And I agree- Noah Shaw is up there along with St. Clair. *swoon* Thanks for this great post and giveaway, Leanna!
One of my favorite book crushes is Ash from the Iron Fey series.
ReplyDeletenice picks, although i'm not a fan of boys with cigarettes. i can pretend it's just for the photos LOL
ReplyDeleteI have lots of book crushes, but I'd have to say Caleb Jacobson from Significance by Shelly Crane tops my list. He's soo sweet!
ReplyDeleteCurse you Leanne - you FORCED me to buy it :p
ReplyDeleteNOAH!!!!! He sits atop my list of fictional boys as well Leanna, followed closely by Kaidan Rowe. He's just so layered. No matter how much I think I've learned about him, I know there's infinitely more he's refusing to show me just yet. Cannot. Get. Enough!
ReplyDeleteMy number one book crush? Ugh. I have so many. I usually fall for the funny types. Like, Seth, Daemon, Adrian, and Jace but I think there might be one guy that blows them all away and that's Tristian from Anew. I swoon over that boy like crazy. Lol He cracked a few jokes in Anew that made me lol but mostly he's a tortured old soul that loves scarlet more than anything. He'd die for her and that pulls at my heart strings. :) I cant wait for the day they can actually be together.
ReplyDeleteCute idea. I might be needing this soon. Ha ha.
Edward from Twilight but I have lot more crushes. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI still crush on Robert Pattinson. He would make a great Noah, sigh... Thanks for the great book and giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI can't think of a major crush at the moment. The Vincent Boys books look good though! :)
ReplyDelete*sigh* Travis Maddox from Beautiful Disaster *sigh*
ReplyDeleteI crush on Noah from Pushing the Limits.... but Beau sounds like my kind of book boy as well!!!
ReplyDeleteI pictured Rob Pattinson the whole time I read Mara. Still need to read the sequel. You just made my day with these scrumptious boys! Drooling on the laptop here. I love the new Vincent Boys covers. I think I liked the Vincent Brothers just a little better than the Vincent Boys. Lana and Sawyer's story was lovely and HOT! Thanks for the giveaway! :)
ReplyDeleteWay to many book crushes but if I had to pick I'd say Will from the Infernal Devices series
ReplyDeleteJay is a big favourite of mine!! :)
ReplyDeleteOne of Noah's bad habits!! Although you'll be happy to hear that he seems to have cut down in the second book!
ReplyDeleteI still need to meet Kaidan! You have me all excited!! ;)
ReplyDeleteTotally! Rob is perfect for Noah! :)
ReplyDeleteI have read both of these books and I loved them sooo much! I hope there are more books in this series someday!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh... I have so many book crushes!! I mean... seriously long list... I REALLY LOVE Jax Stone ;) I haven't read The Vincent Boys YET so I'm stoked about this giveaway! I LOVE the Sea Breeze Series!!! Awesome Giveaway! *New GFC Follower*
ReplyDelete~Kayla
I can't wait to meet the Vincent Boys!
ReplyDeleteMy #1 fictional boyfriend is Jamie Fraser. But he's got lots of competition depending upon what I'm reading at the time.
ReplyDeleteDamon from The Vampire Diaries of Tobias from Divergent!
ReplyDeleteEvery book i read, the main boy character is who i love! (:
ReplyDeletemy book crush is Merrick from Shelly Crane's Collide series. has been since I first read the book nad doubt he is going anywhere soon.
ReplyDeleteI have a loooot of book crushes because fictional characters are so awesome! But if I have to choose between Beau and Sawyer, I'd choose Beau <3
ReplyDeleteI have so many but I really loved Philip from That Boy and Seth from Unlovable!
ReplyDeleteSwoons. I couldn't have chosen a better first choice for Noah Leanna! I'm especially loving the pic of him with the cigarette hanging out of his mouth. It's all sorts of sexy if you ask me. I must say I'm seriously considering the idea of buying the US version of Evolution of Mara, because the UK version is coming out so late. You've definitely piqued my curiosity with your mention of Noah in a Tux. That has to be all sorts of yum. On another note, I totally want to read The Vincent Boys - I've been seeing some rave reviews for the books. Great post Leanna!
ReplyDeleteMy number one book crush is Braden from the book On Dublin Street by Samantha Young
ReplyDeleteI read the vincent boys at the beginning of this year and totally fell in love with Abbi Glines' writing. The story, though not necessarily a new concept, kept me engaged and I couldn't help but fall for Beau. I also read the Vincent Brothers this summer and though it was also good, I much preferred the first one in the series.
ReplyDeleteMy number one boy crush is a toss up between Day in Legend by Marie Lu and Noah Hutchins in Pushing the Limits.
ReplyDeleteI love Abbi Glines and ALL of her books! Dying to read The Vincent Brothers!
ReplyDeleteMy book crush is Bones from the Night Huntress Series!
ReplyDeleteMy top book crush is a toss up between Lucas from Easy & Beau from The Vincent Boys!
ReplyDeleteMy NUMBER ONE book boyfriend is Aiden from the Covenant series by Jennifer Armentrout!!
ReplyDeleteI have a lot of book crushes but my number one is Sam from Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater:)
ReplyDeleteI loved Noah from PTL too. He was so adorable with those brothers of his! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for following! :)
ReplyDeleteMe too! :)
ReplyDeleteOooh - nice picks!
ReplyDeleteIt's worth investing in a US copy JUST for that Tux scene!
ReplyDeleteOMG yes! I LOVE that guy! So hot!!
ReplyDeleteNoah from PTL is a great guy! I haven't read Legend yet. Must get to that one soon!
ReplyDeleteMy all-time book crush (cliche, I know) would have to be Mr. Darcy. What can I say, I'm an old-fashioned kind of girl ;)
ReplyDeleteWell i have a lot of book crushes! But my first was Jace from Mortal Instruments, Ahhhhhh!! Love him still and so excited for the movie!
ReplyDeleteI've read both Vincent Boys and Brothers and loved them both, gotta say that I have a soft spot for Beau!
This is a hard one! From Abbi's books it would be between Beau and Dank. A book crush from way back would be Noah in The Notebook. I have also read all of Abbi's books and I love all of them. Highly recommend them ALL!
