Malorie Blackman launches Online Book Festival for Teens!



How cool is this?!

Malorie Blackman - in her capacity as Children's Laureate is launching an online book festival for teens as part of World Book Day.  So, if you feel like you've been missing out on those oh-so-cool bookish events that always seem to take part in the US and the UK, here's your chance to take part. There are no travel costs, no expenses and you won't even need to leave the comfort of your couch!

Here's the 4-1-1 on the event (from the Teen Fest website):

On 4 & 5 March from 6–8pm WBD TeenFest will bring amazing authors including Holly Smale, Marcus Sedgwick, Malorie Blackman and Derek Landy straight to your screen! With Hangouts and interviews, how-tos, blogposts, playlists, prizes and much more, each night will be packed with brilliant booky stuff as well as the chance to chat with other readers and writers.  Oh, and did we mention… it’s FREE!

-Get the lowdown on the latest YA fiction
-Get writing tips, tricks and inspiration
-Share your#SHELFIES
-WIN BOOKS!
-UPCYCLE your old books
-LISTEN TO and CREATE playlists
-Discover some TRADE SECRETS
-And LOTS MORE!

Teen Fest events will take part across a spectrum of Social Media outlets including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
