Today I'm showcasing Karen Mahoney's upcoming book Falling to Ash which has two very different cover looks for it's UK and Australian incarnations. I remember hearing about this book last year and thinking it sounded like super fun!
Which cover look to you prefer? When I first saw the UK cover I really liked it, but then I saw the Australian cover and oooh, it's so pretty. I think that one might be my favourite!
What's yours?
Falling to Ash by Karen Mahoney.

You can’t choose your family... living or dead.
Trapped between two very different worlds, newly made vampire Moth is struggling to find her place in either. Not only does she have to answer to her strict Irish-Catholic Dad, but her over-protective maker, Theo, is intent on making her the star attraction in his powerful Boston vampire clan. Moth will have to pull off the double-act of the century to please both of them...
Adding to her problems is the dangerously attractive Jason Murdoch, a trainee vampire hunter who loves to play cat and mouse in his spare time (Jace = cat; Moth = mouse). But when the teenagers of Boston’s wealthiest families start to disappear, it forces Moth and Jace into an uneasy truce. Will they be able to solve the mystery behind the disappearances—before someone winds up undead?

Australian Cover Art:
Ooh I don't know! I think I may love them both.
ReplyDeleteWow, both of these are stunning! I love the butterflies coming out of her hair on the first cover, but overall I think I'm favoring the Australian cover, it's just really eye catching. Thanks for sharing these Leanna, I love seeing different versions of the same book!
ReplyDeleteThey both look so beautiful. My favourite would be the UK cover! :)
ReplyDeleteI like both covers, but you are right-- the Australian one is to-die-for! Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing these!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you. I'm totally leaning towards the Australian cover now. I like it a little bit more every time I see it! :)
ReplyDeleteSuch stunning covers *drools*
ReplyDeleteOOH! Before I scrolled down tosee the Aus cover, I thought to myself 'no way, the UK cover is beautiful!' and then I saw it. And it is lovely. It has to be that one!
ReplyDeleteI love the UK cover, more so than the Austrailian one I think, but thats maybe because the moths on the austrailian one look a bit too butterfly-ish… maybe. But anyway, I'm in love with this cover!
ReplyDeleteBoth covers look really beautiful, but I prefer the Aussie cover. Love the butterfly elements.
