Love is a gift. Passion is a curse.
In Alyson Noel’s most darkly seductive Immortals novel yet, Ever fights for control of her body, her soul—and the timeless true love she’s been chasing for centuries.
Ever is trying to help Haven transition into life as an immortal. But with Haven drunk on her new powers and acting recklessly, she poses the ultimate threat—exposing their secret world to the outside. As Ever struggles to keep the Immortals hidden, it only propels Haven closer to the enemy—Roman and his evil companions.
At the same time, Ever delves deeper into dark magick to free Damen from Roman’s power. But when her spell backfires, it binds her to the one guy who’s hell-bent on her destruction. Now there’s a strange, foreign pulse coursing through her, and no matter what she does, she can’t stop thinking about Roman—and longing for his touch. As she struggles to resist the fiery attraction threatening to consume her, Roman is more than willing to take advantage of her weakened state…and Ever edges closer and closer to surrender.
Frantic to break the spell before its too late, Ever turns to Jude for help, risking everything she knows and loves to save herself—and her future with Damen …
Ah, time for my favourite weekly meme. I love The Immortals series, and I'm really looking forward to this one. From reading other blogs I think a lot of people are giving up on this series, but I love it. This is not a case of me sticking with the series, it's a case of me excitedly counting down the days until the books comes out. Cannot wait!
Let's talk about the cover art. I can't wait until October for the paperback release, although I have to say I love the cover a lot, and I especially love the lettering here. Thankfully I'm quite enamoured with the hardcover version too, so that'll keep me happy.

Great choice! Love this series and the cover is awesome!
ReplyDeleteThe last book in the series wasn't that good, but I LOVED Evermore and Blue Moon. I am also excited for the spin-off series ....I believe the title is Radiance? Anyway, I haven't given up on this series either. I pre-ordered this book awhile ago and am looking forward to it as well. It's one of my guilty pleasures! Great pick this week!
ReplyDeletei dont know if i'm going to like it.the first two seemed a little bit edgy to me.
ReplyDeleteI will be buying this one too, I just hope it is better than the last two.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of these yet but they look interesting. I like the covers.
ReplyDeleteI haven't started reading this series yet, but this one looks great! the covers are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI read Evermore and really enjoyed it. I just couldn't get into Blue Moon but I'm going to give it another crack in a week or so. Hopefully, these will be on my list too. I love the concept of The Immortals series.
ReplyDeleteI love this series, too! Definitely excited for Dark Flame to be released :)
ReplyDeletei have been hearing such great things about this series!
ReplyDeleteWe still haven't got Shadowlands in the UK yet, but I'm really looking forward to the next books in the series :)
ReplyDelete@Kelly - That's insane that Shadowland hasn't been released in the UK yet. I'm in Ireland and I hate how we sometimes have to wait so long for book releases. Thankfully I got my copy of Shadowland from America via Bookmooch, and I'm willing to pay the import price for Dark Flame. It does get expensive though.
ReplyDelete@Megan - I didn't like Blue Moon either, but I loved Shadowland. I've read a lot of negative reviews of it, but I guess everyone is different.
@Christina - I read about the spin-off series too (focusing on Riley, Ever's sister), but I don't know if I'll read it as I think it's middle grade. Might be a bit young for me!
