It's a really good idea - just a bit slow/repetitive for me - but definitely worth a read!daisychainbookshttp://daisychainbookreviews.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5689237444917451564.post-12355679695399890622015-02-10T07:45:29.992+00:002015-02-10T07:45:29.992+00:00Wow, this sounds absolutely chilling! I love stories about twins, too, but the idea of a little girl taking on the traits of her dead sister---eeek, that sends all kinds of tingles up my spine!! It's too bad about the slow pacing, but I love the sounds of the creepiness and the atmosphere.LittleMissBeckyhttp://storiesandsweeties.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5689237444917451564.post-15946632338352596132015-02-10T01:29:29.353+00:002015-02-10T01:29:29.353+00:00WOW!!! I nearly picked up The Girl on the Train instead but the twin element of this won out.
Kat
http://just-a-wee-bookworm.comKatnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5689237444917451564.post-23226845863596801172015-02-09T16:48:18.562+00:002015-02-09T16:48:18.562+00:00Ooooh, I was going to buy this the other day! I have to be in the right mood, which generally happens on three days every three years!). It's a shame about the pacing - but then, I generally read Victorian mysteries (Wilkie Collins is my fave!!), so I'm no stranger to a slow plot. I might have to nip back to ASDA and grab The Ice Twins now!
Thank you for the recommendation!
Beth x
www.thequietpeople.comBethhttp://www.thequietpeople.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5689237444917451564.post-51769087621399453732015-02-09T12:55:04.043+00:002015-02-09T12:55:04.043+00:00Wow- I think this book would scare the crap out of...Wow- I think this book would scare the crap out of me. Seriously. The remote island, the creepy twins and the death of one…yikes. It sounds perfect for Halloween or a cold winter's night. It's a shame the pacing was off for you, but it sounds like it was still an entertaining read. If I read this one, I think I would only able to read it during the day. :)ChristinaBookAddictnoreply@blogger.com
