Waiting on Wednesday #32 - Forgotten by Cat Patrick.

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted at Breaking the Spine that spotlights eagerly awaited upcoming releases.

Forgotten by Cat Patrick
Publisher: Egmont Books LTD
Release date: June 6th 2011

Each night when 16 year-old London Lane goes to sleep, her whole world disappears. In the morning, all that's left is a note telling her about a day she can't remember. The whole scenario doesn't exactly make high school or dating that hot guy whose name she can't seem to recall any easier. But when London starts experiencing disturbing visions she can't make sense of, she realizes it's time to learn a little more about the past she keeps forgetting-before it destroys her future.

Part psychological drama, part romance, and part mystery, this thought-provoking novel will inspire readers to consider the what-if's in their own lives and recognize the power they have to control their destinies.

Australian Cover for Forgotten by Cat Patrick

Oooh, I love the sound of this one! A psychological thriller with romance and mystery, I've heard it described as Memento crossed with The Time-Traveller's Wife, and I can't wait to read it.  Also, the movie rights to this one have already been snapped up by Paramount with Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit) attached to play London. Exciting!

Also, this book has had a lot of different covers, but, as far as I know, these are the final covers for the US, UK and Australian releases. Which one do you like best? I'm not a huge fan of the US cover, but I like the UK cover a lot, and I think the Australian cover is oh, so pretty!

Let me know what you think, and share your WoW picks in comments! :)
