Book Trailer: Abandon by Meg Cabot.

Can you believe it - I have never read a book by Meg Cabot. Stranger than strange, I know! I think I'll be starting with this one, though. I love the sound of Abandon, and check out that cover.  Total cover candy! I just spotted the book trailer and thought I'd share it here.

What do you think? Will you be reading this one?

If you're one of the lucky people who've already read this one, let me know what you thought!

Abandon will also be released in the UK (Macmillan) in 2012.

Abandon by Meg Cabot
Publisher: Scholastic.
Release date: April 26th 2011
Ages: 14+

New from #1 New York Times bestselling author Meg Cabot, a dark, fantastical story about this world . . . and the underworld.

Though she tries returning to the life she knew before the accident, Pierce can't help but feel at once a part of this world, and apart from it. Yet she's never alone . . . because someone is always watching her. Escape from the realm of the dead is impossible when someone there wants you back.
But now she's moved to a new town. Maybe at her new school, she can start fresh. Maybe she can stop feeling so afraid.

Only she can't. Because even here, he finds her. That's how desperately he wants her back. She knows he's no guardian angel, and his dark world isn't exactly heaven, yet she can't stay away . . . especially since he always appears when she least expects it, but exactly when she needs him most.

But if she lets herself fall any further, she may just find herself back in the one place she most fears: the Underworld.

  1. It's been a long time since I read a Meg Cabot book! I think I was in high school...Abandon sounds intriguing though. Since I'm not all that familiar with the author though, I might wait until I see some more reviews of it!

  8. I have only read one Meg Cabot but I did really enjoy it. IT was Avalon High. I am sure Abandon has a similar theme to The Goddess Test by Aimee Carter.Though not sure.

  10. I actually GASPED when I read that you hadn't read anything by Meg Cabot. This one sounds really good, but I think Meg Cabot could write about ANYTHING and it would turn out genius.
